Back to Basics: Bull and Bear Traps. What are they and how to identify them? These formations usually proceed with a swift change in direction. Depending on the time frame you’re trading off of, you must be aware news can create traps. After a prolonged move, buy the rumor sell the news can take place and on the news, the trap is formed.
